Flora hides in the shadows
Shadow Shot Sunday 2: The goddess Flora hides in the shadows. Flora is made from bronze on a base of granite and the sculptor is Jonas Fröding. He was related to the swedish poet Gustaf Fröding. The sculpture is from 1936 and originally stood by the first of the three county buildings. Now moved a few hundred meters. I have shown Flora in the winter in an earlier blog post.
I bet that’s a happy statue. The shadows look like welcome relief from the heat.
