Square
A Word a Week Photography Challenge: Square: In central Nagoya close to the TV Tower I took this picture of a fountain erupting from squares in the ground.

is this ‘double layered’ as the squares are in a public square?

Yes it is some kind of public square as it is on a promenade or a very broad boulevard with several walkways on either side of the spaces in the middle leading up to the TV tower in Nagoya. So it is kind of a double meaning to the picture. I wish you a good weekend!

Square tiles in a square with square opening where water dances – a delightful take on the challenge. Waving at you from Cape Cod.

Thank you! It was rather fascinating as there wasn´t any other sign that it was a fountain. The water grew out of the squares on the ground. I wish you a good sunday!

Such drama! Great picture, captures the action so nicely. I like to try and photograph water, often it is surprising when you look back at photos quite how many shapes and colours can be seen in the water droplets and formations. Squares in a square, nice!
