The autumn pictures this week comes from a revisit at Hovdala castle with a walk in daylight through the woods to Hammarmölledamm where we saw the flying bats a few weeks ago. The port tower of Hovdala is built in the year of 1600 according to the date on the façade. It was damaged during the Scanian war that was fought between Denmark and Sweden. The province of Scania became Swedish in 1658. As you can see by the pictures the trees have started to show their autumn colors.
