I got a comment on my posting for Shadowed yesterday and followed the link back to girlexpat and discovered lovely pictures from Nagoya in Japan where my son lived for several years. Another blog to add to my reading list.
This brought on some memories and I delved into my digital picture shoe box. The comment made me think about cables.
I was very fascinated with the cables lining the streets in Japan, as there are almost no cables in the air from where I come.
I think this picture illustrates my point very well. I am not sure but I think it is safer and easier to have the cables above ground when it is a big risk for earthquakes?
It may be that I am wrong. I am anyhow fascinated with this to me exotic sight. The picture is from central Nagoya, near Osu Kannon temple if my memory is correct.
